Blogging SXSW 2005

Yeah, so, since I’m here, and most of you are not, I will be blogging the big show, including my panels on accessibility standards and podcasting. For only SXSW-related posts, you can browse by the SXSW2005 keyword.
Naturally, I won’t be able to communicate the entirety of the SXSW experience, so I offer a simulation. Stand in line somewhere for about an hour. Then run to the corner store and pick up only the advertising sections of the Sunday paper. Call every one of your favorite geek friends, drink until 2:30am and have no guilt over waking up at 10. Keep your appointment book sparse during the afternoons, and triple-booked from 8 until daylight. Repeat through the weekend, or until you realize you may have done something the night before that was a career-limiting move.
This seems the perfect year for a Hunter S. Thompson-style bender. Maybe we should give a SXSW Web Award for the Gonzo blog of the weekend.
